Pine Cone Keychains

May 2003 Toronto:

Cuzin Carol's in town! Bringing not only great videos of her growing Mud River Ranch wild boar herd in Northern British Columbia, and exciting stories of a newly hatching wild turkey project, but also a small keepsake that's revealed greater depth than expected.

Just a simple keychain, made from a piece of thinly sliced pine cone, either Jack or Lodge Pole.

Yet I keep seeing the image of a bison head, looking straight at me (left).

And on the flip side, an unsettling, fanged horror mask (right).
