Labelling Reality
"The whole is essentially a dynamic pattern rather than the static sum of its parts. The parts only exist as we create them, as we define and limit the inexpressible whole in order to communicate. We divide our continuous encounter with Reality by way of our symbol systems, such as language and mathematics, in order to exchange ideas and information about our individual experiences."
